Position: School Psychologist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing psychological assessments, developing intervention plans, and offering counseling services to students. This role requires strong collaboration with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments and address students' academic, behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to assess students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students' academic and mental health progress.
- Provide individual and group counseling for students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to foster effective learning environments.
- Offer training and guidance to school personnel on best practices in psychological interventions and student support.
- Participate as a core member of the Child Study Team, contributing to educational planning for students with special needs.
- Prepare detailed reports on psychological evaluations and recommended interventions.
- Consult with administration and staff to create programs for the early identification and prevention of learning challenges.
- Coordinate referrals to external specialists or agencies when necessary.
- Foster relationships with community groups and stakeholders to build support for school programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a School Psychologist preferred.
- Must hold appropriate New Jersey School Psychologist certification.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse school community.
- In-depth knowledge of laws and regulations related to school psychology.
- Competence in motivating and evaluating students' intellectual, social, and emotional development.
- High standards of reliability, professionalism, and moral character.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.

Job Title: Armed School Security Guard
Position Type: Part Time/Hourly
Job Summary: The School Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role involves patrolling the school grounds, monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with school policies and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol school premises regularly, including buildings, parking lots, and playgrounds, to ensure safety and deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems to identify and respond to suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Enforce school policies and procedures related to security and conduct.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, including threats, accidents, and medical emergencies, and provide necessary assistance.
- Collaborate with school administration, local law enforcement, and emergency services to enhance school safety and address security concerns.
- Conduct routine security checks and inspections of school facilities, including doors, windows, and alarm systems.
- Provide security during school events, including sports activities, assemblies, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Maintain accurate and detailed reports of security incidents, daily activities, and observations.
- Assist with the development and implementation of school safety plans and protocols.
- Serve as a visible and approachable presence to reassure students, staff, and parents regarding their safety.

Postion: Consultation and Mentoring for Child Study Team Supervisor and Coordinator
Qualifications:
● CST or Teaching Experience: Significant experience working as a special
education teacher or member of a CST, preferably across various age
groups and disabilities.
● Administrative Experience: Experience as an administrator in special
education settings, such as a special education coordinator, director, or
principal.
● Child Study Team Involvement: Experience working with child study
teams, including conducting evaluations, developing Individualized
Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
● Knowledge and Skills
● Legal and Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of IDEA
(Individuals with Disabilities Education Act), Section 504 of the
Rehabilitation Act, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), and other
relevant laws and regulations.
● IEP Development and Implementation: Expertise in creating,
implementing, and monitoring IEPs and ensuring compliance with legal
requirements.
● Behavioral Interventions and Supports: Knowledge of positive behavioral
interventions and supports (PBIS) and other strategies to support students
with behavioral challenges.
● Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze and use data to inform
decisions and improve student outcomes.
● Conflict Resolution: Strong skills in mediation and conflict resolution to
address and resolve disputes.
Compensation: Hourly rate not to exceed $5,900
