North Warren students took home so many ribbons and awards at the prestigious Mt Olive Art Invitational on Tuesday night that it took a day to get them all figured out! This event is a juried exhibition/competition of top high school artists across the region.
AWARDS:
Rachel DeFino won 1st Place in Drawing and Painting
Emma Ramos won 2nd Place in Drawing and Painting
Nick Brando won 3rd Place in Ceramics
SCHOLARSHIPS:
Senior Christina Salcido was awarded 3 scholarships: an $80,000 total scholarship to Moore College of Art, a $100,000 total scholarship to University of Hartford School of the Arts as well as a scholarship to Savannah College of Art and Design.
Senior Emma Ramos was awarded a $108,000 total scholarship to University of Hartford School of the Arts
Junior Rachel DeFino was awarded an $84,000 total scholarship to University of Hartford School of the Arts.
Sophomore Kathryn Zurovchak was awarded an full tuition/all expenses paid summer seminar at the Savannah College of Art and Design
