Ms. Bilotti was asked to serve the New Jersey Legislature’s Joint Committee on the Public Schools as one of three Superintendents representing school leaders in our state.
In her role on this committee, she testified on Tuesday about our students’ enthusiasm to be back in school, the continued partnership between home and school during Covid-19, and continued telling the unique story of the devastating effects of S2/Chapter 67 on the learning community here at North Warren.
Ms. Bilotti explained how schools need even more support now to address the complex needs of our students. She discussed how our teachers and students rose above the challenges of the last year and a half but how the reality of instruction today requires additional resources to keep our students on track. She again asked for additional financial support.
